Your student can earn high school and college credits simultaneously through our dual enrollment programs.
Risen Star Academy students are recognized by the state of Florida as private school students. This fact disqualifies RSA students from participating in the FREE dual enrollment program that homeschool students are eligible to participate in. Risen Star Academy students are recognized by the state of Florida as private school students. This fact disqualifies RSA students from participating in the FREE dual enrollment program that homeschool students are eligible to participate in. Your student has several options to participate in dual enrollment:
- Your student may dis-enroll from Risen Star Academy and you may establish a homeschool in your county of residence. At this point your student will have the same dual enrollment options that a homeschool student has (ie. free college courses).
- Your student may enroll in an online college program through RSA @ TEL Learning for just $75/ per credit hour $225/ 3 credit course (transcripts will go through Oklahoma Christian University).
- You may also choose Tel-Learning outside of RSA and choose your own underwriting school.
TEL Learning

If you choose TEL Learning your courses will be transcribed by Oklahoma Christian University.
Associates Degree available.
Associates Degree available.
To Enroll:
- Please reach out to the Director of Risen Star Academy @ [email protected] or text 850-307-3823
- Choose your classes. You will pay upfront cash/check/ or online payment (fees added) @ a rate of 75.00 per credit.
- Oklahoma Christian University will be the transcribing University (there are no other options for RSA, we were required to pick just one)
Why my daughter likes the Tel-learning / Tel-education process:
- No PERT or placement tests
- 100% online - at your own pace (within the 16-week semester)
- Mid-terms and finals are online proctored exams / but they have proctors available 24/7 so if she wanted to take an exam at 1:30 am, she can absolutely do that. She actually has taken an exam at 11:30 pm before.
- There is also an option for an RSA representative to proctor your exam, you will need to make arrangements with the director.
- If you don't finish the degree by graduation, it doesn't matter, because you can finish the courses even after you complete high school.
- Courses count as high school AND college credits at the same time.
